What is HYROX?
HYROX is the world's fastest-growing fitness race — 8 km of running combined with 8 functional stations, finished in under an hour. Rules are identical worldwide, so your time in Taipei is directly comparable to athletes in Berlin, New York, or Singapore.
It's not for elites only — about 80% of competitors are first-timers. What you need is well-rounded fitness: enough strength, enough running, and the grit to keep moving when your body wants to stop. That's exactly what our small-group classes build.

Why train HYROX at Sufu Training?
Official HYROX Affiliate
Licensed HYROX Affiliate Gym since 2026. We're not just "a gym with some HYROX movements" — we're an officially recognized HYROX training facility.
Max 8 people, coach on every rep
Sled, kettlebells, wall balls, lunges, burpees — these movements break down under fatigue and that's where injuries happen. Small group means a coach actually watches your form.
Next to Dingxi MRT — easy race-day commute
Taipei HYROX races are usually at NTU Sports Center or Nangang Exhibition Center — quick MRT ride from Yonghe. Training and race day, location is never the friction.
Cross-training class maps to race format
Our cross-training class (綜合體能) is built around exactly the strength-endurance capacity HYROX demands — sled, kettlebell carries, lunges, wall balls are weekly.
Suggested HYROX prep week
From zero to finish line: typically 12–16 weeks.
Build strength endurance and movement quality. Max 8 per class, coach on every rep.
One long run (6–10 km) and one interval session (short fast efforts).
Stitch runs and stations together to dial in race pacing.
FAQ
I've never raced HYROX — can I still come? +
Yes. Roughly 80% of HYROX athletes are first-timers, and the goal is to finish, not to win. Our small-group strength and cross-training classes already cover the core HYROX movements — sled, kettlebells, wall balls, lunges — so you don't have to 'get fit first' before joining.
What does 'Official HYROX Affiliate Gym' mean? +
A HYROX Affiliate Gym is officially approved by HYROX: equipment, methodology, and coaching are aligned with HYROX standards. We hold the paid affiliate license starting 2026, meaning what you train here maps directly to the global HYROX race format.
How many sessions per week to prep for a race? +
We recommend 3 strength / cross-training classes + 2 runs + 1 monthly HYROX simulation. Tell your coach your target race date and we'll bias your training toward race-day demands. From zero to finish line typically takes 12–16 weeks.
Do you have all the HYROX competition equipment? +
Yes — sled, kettlebells, wall balls, sandbag, SkiErg, rower. All eight stations are trainable on-site. The space itself is a small-group training gym, not a HYROX arena, so the full 8 km running portion is done outdoors as part of your run training.
How is HYROX different from regular functional fitness? +
HYROX bolts running onto functional movements — you need to keep moving when you're already cooked. Our cross-training classes specifically build that capacity: strength endurance, mental toughness, and clean movement under fatigue. It transfers directly to HYROX.
